Elliott's First Soccer Game

He was so excited when the big day finally came. At first, it was quite funny, coach put them in their positions and when the whistle blew, they just stood there while the other team took the ball down the field. They didn't know they could move! They were just standing there like "how are we supposed to kick the ball if we have to stand in this one spot?" Luckily, the goalie knew what to do and blocked the goal. It took a few minutes, but when they realized they didn't have to stay in that spot, they were off and running and having a ball! We were so proud of Elliott. He got right after and ball and even made a couple of great plays. Everyone was there to cheer him on and the smile on his face was just priceless!
